Summit Information Systems selects AMS REALTIME to manage development
of financial application software
Enterprise suite provides a resource-centric approach to managing
the Summit project portfolio
Redlands, CA (October 19, 2000) - Advanced Management Solutions,
a market leader in solutions for enterprise-wide project and resource
management, has announced that Summit Information Systems - Another
Fiserv Resource has selected the AMS REALTIME suite to structure its
systems integration and software development projects.
Summit, a recognized leader in the development and implementation
of advanced technology for financial institutions, requires fast-track
development and delivery of information technology (IT) for its clients.
To continue to meet or exceed the technology requirements of its clients,
Summit conducted an extensive search for a project management tool
to provide the Summit organization an increased visibility of the
status of work across the whole project portfolio, a clear picture
of current resource capacity and future requirements, and to support
the sharing of resources across the organization.
“AMS REALTIME provides the best fit of functionality and features
against our requirements, but most importantly, provides the resource-centric
approach that will best support our processes.” said Clara Higgins,
Summit Program Office Manager.
AMS REALTIME provides portfolio management capabilities to optimize
the way in which Summit allocates resources to ensure alignment with
Summit business goals. The system will provide reports to allow the
summarization of work performed by individual, project, release and
organization. The new AMS REALTIME system will also enable the Summit
staff to be more involved and more effective in the software development
process by providing greater visibility of accomplishments while significantly
reducing time spent on processes such as time recording and billing.
